Sombra Ultrajante Filas is committed to
pursuing factual breed knowledge, sharing that knowledge with
others, and breeding for the complete fila brasileiro. We are not
willing to compromise health, conformation, ojeriza, temperament or
working ability in our breeding program.
This website has been created so that we might share with you the
knowledge we have gained, our experiences accumulated over the
years, and our work with the Fila Brasileiro.
To make the knowledge we have gathered regarding Fila breed
history, health, and more readily available to everyone seeking to
learn more about the Fila Brasileiro, we have combined our research
efforts with many other breeders, owners, handlers and fanciers.
All this information has been placed into one site known as Fila
University - a place of higher learning regarding the fila so to
speak. To facilitate impartiality, this site is separate from our
kennel site. We hope you enjoy all the information that has been
